About Us
​Ridgecrest JETS is an independent conference designed to expose, encourage, and enrich the interest of young women in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) field.
​
JETS conference is hosted by Ridgecrest Women of Math & Science (RWMS), established in 2002, and became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2004.
This conference is *usually an all-day event on a Saturday*. Throughout the event, participants will be able to interact and connect with guest speakers, volunteers, and workshop leaders in various STEM fields.​ Hands-on workshops of small groups introduce participants to applications in STEM for traditional and non-traditional careers.

** Previously named Ridgecrest EYH, In the past, the conference was sponsored by Expanding Your Horizon (EYH) organization, EYH is a national STEM event that encourages girls* to explore careers in STEM.
